Drip Drip Drip
Why do most people enjoy drip coffee but don’t understand other types of coffee drinks?
Most people tend to gravitate towards drip coffee because it offers a familiar and straightforward coffee experience. Drip coffee is the quintessential morning brew, characterized by its simplicity and consistency. It’s easy to understand: ground coffee beans are placed in a filter, hot water is poured over them, and the resulting liquid drips into a pot or carafe. This method extracts the coffee’s essence, resulting in a robust and comforting cup. We tend to drink our Peruvian coffee. It is very low acidic and is a medium roast.
In contrast, coffee drinks like lattes, cappuccinos, or espresso-based concoctions involve intricate brewing techniques and complex combinations of ingredients like steamed milk, foam, and various flavorings. These drinks can be intimidating to those unfamiliar with coffee culture, and their nuances may be lost on those who simply seek a straightforward caffeine fix. Hence, while drip coffee remains a beloved and approachable choice, many people may not fully grasp the artistry and depth that lie within the world of specialty coffee beverages.
